A free Security Assessment for PostgreSQL databases
A new free Security Assessment service is now being offered on our website, enabling pre-sales teams to demonstrate our capability to a broader range of prospects.
The new service will provide organizations with the ability to obtain a score of how their existing PostgreSQL cluster stacks up against the CIS benchmark.
The service is highly automated, and therefore allows us to extend the service to a much larger number of organizations with its low impact on resources of the Center of Excellence team.
How does it work?
A customer just needs to answer some online questions and then download and run a bash script (for open visibility – required by many organizations for security reasons), the results of which are then forwarded to Fujitsu.
The Center of Excellence team will then run this result through an in-house developed utility for loading into a database, where dynamic assessment of their cluster takes place. The report can then be sent to the customer, either in online or PDF format.
In addition, we arrange a consultation to help the customer comprehend the system output and receive recommendations from our team.
