Shlok Kyal
Shlok Kyal is an Associate Application Developer at Fujitsu, where he contributes to the open-source PostgreSQL team. His work focuses on logical replication. Shlok's technical acumen was showcased at PGConf India 2025, where he presented on upgrading replication clusters without downtime, highlighting his expertise in logical replication and PostgreSQL's evolving features.
Before joining Fujitsu, Shlok served as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, gaining valuable experience in database internals and Transact-SQL (T-SQL). He holds a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, where he developed a strong foundation in computer science. Beyond his professional endeavors, Shlok actively contributes to imrpoving the performance of Babelfish, demonstrating his commitment to community-driven open source development.
